After completing a bachelor’s degree in Economics in Nantes in 1974, Catherine Kraft Le Marec obtained a degree from Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris in 1976. She first worked for the French subsidiaries of U.S. manufacturing companies and was a budget controller at Control Data France, prior to becoming the Management Controller and finally the Treasurer of Prodair, the French subsidiary of Air Products and Chemicals.
After ten years working for major companies, she turned to providing consulting and financing services for small businesses. She first became interested in equity investing in 1990 and, in 1995 as the Chief Executive Officer of Centre Capital Développement (CCD), she organized its regionalization and capital increase.. In February 2006, within the framework of the establishment of an inter-regional private equity structure, she became a member of the Management Board of Sofimac Partners while continuing in her role at CCD. |
