Le Lanceur invests in the founding of innovative high technology companies generally created by university researchers and engineers. For example, Le Lanceur made an investment in Clerad in Clermont-Ferrand, which specializes in the design and development of equipment used to detect ionizing radiation. Le Lanceur’s initial funding consists in equity investments of between €150,000 and €200,000, accompanied by seed financing from Agence Nationale de Valorisation de la Recherche (Anvar), which is known as the “French innovation agency”, as well as from other funds based in the Auvergne region and from the French government Le Lanceur invests in life sciences, new information and communications technologies and engineering sciences.
